dc.description.abstractวิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะศึกษาการเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองที่ต่อต้านรัฐบาลสมัยจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราม ครั้งที่สอง ระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2491 ถึง 2500 ว่าเกิดขึ้นในเงื่อนไขความขัดแย้งทางความคิด เช่นไร และจะนำไปสู่การดำเนินการทางการเมืองเช่นไร ผลการศึกษาค้นพบว่า การเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองที่ต่อต้านรัฐบาลจอมพลแปลกนั้น ได้แบ่งเป็น3 ระยะ คีอ ระยะกึ่งเผด็จการ (พ.ศ.2491 -2494 ) ระยะเผด็จการ (พ.ค.2495-2497) และระยะฟื้นฟูประชาธิปไตย (พ.ศ.2498-2500 ) โดยความคิดทางการเมืองแบบอำนาจนิยมที่มีคณะรัฐประหารเป็นตัวแทนสนับสนุนรัฐบาลจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราม แต่แนวคิดที่นำมาสู่การเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองที่ต่อต้านรัฐบาลก็คือ แนวคิดอนุรักษ์นิยม แนวคิดประชาธิปไตยพลเรือน และแนวคิดสังคมนิยม การต่อป้านรัฐบาลตามแนวคิดเหล่านี้ ทำให้สถานการณ์ทางการเมืองสับสนยิ่งขึ้น จนในที่สุดเมื่อถึง พ.ศ. 2500 จอมพลสฤษดิ์ ธนะรัชต์ ก็ได้อาศัยการเคลื่อนไหวต่อต้านรัฐบาลเหล่านี้เป็นเครื่องมือในการล้มล้างรัฐบาลจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงครามen_US
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis dissertation studies the political movements against Field Marshal Pibulshonggram's second regime (1948-1957) concentrating on the terms of ideological conflicts, and how they affected politics. The result of research undertaken shows that the political movements against Field Marshal Pibulshonggram's government fell into three phases, namely: the quasi-dictatorial phase (1948-1951), the dictatorial phase (1952-1954) and the democratic revival phase (1955-1957). The political ideology which underpinned Field Marshal Pibulshonggram's government was that of authoritarianism, represented by the coup group. But the thinking or ideologies, which gave rise to opposition movements against the regime were. conservatism, civilian democracy, and socialism. Opposition to the regime along these lines of thought made the political situation increasingly confused until, in 1957, Field Marshal Srisdi Dhanarajata was able to turn these movements against the government to his advantage and topple Field Marshal Pibulshonggram's regime.en_US
