| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาความต้องการในการใช้และการจัดการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยสำรวจข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่มีอยู่ในโรงเรียน สำรวจระดับความเชื่อถือได้ของข้อมูลและสารสนเทศ และศึกษาลักษณะของข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่ผู้บริหารต้องการใช้ในการบริหารโรงเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างการวิจัยเป็นผู้บริหารโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร 238 คน จำแนกเป็นผู้บริหารโรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่ 145 คน ผู้บริหารโรงเรียนขนาดกลางและขนาดเล็ก 93 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้วิธีคำนวณหาค่าสัดส่วน ค่าร้อยละ ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบซี และการทดสอบที ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. วิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและสารสนเทศในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในกรุงเทพมหานครมี 3 ลักษณะ ลักษณะที่ใช้กันอยู่มากที่สุด คือ แต่ละหน่วยงานเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและสารสนเทศตามที่หน่วยงานนั้นเกี่ยวข้อง รองลงมา คือ เมื่อต้องการใช้ข้อมูลและสารสนเทศเรื่องใดผู้บริหารจะสั่งให้เจ้าหน้าที่ที่เหมาะสมจัดรวบรวมเป็นคราว ๆ ไป และอีกลักษณะหนึ่ง คือ มีหน่วยงานเฉพาะหน่วยหนึ่งทำหน้าที่เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและสารสนเทศทั้งหมด 2. ลักษณะของข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่มีอยู่ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา ส่วนใหญ่เป็นข้อมูลที่เก็บรวบรวมไว้ทุกปี มีความต่อเนื่องกัน เป็นตัวเลขหรือข้อความที่อยู่ในแบบสอบถามหรือแบบสำรวจในรูปแบบของข้อมูลดิบ ซึ่งผู้บริหารระบุว่ามีความเชื่อถือได้และเป็นปัจจุบัน โรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่มีสัดส่วนของข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่รวบรวมไว้ใช้ในโรงเรียน มากกว่าโรงเรียนขนาดกลางและขนาดเล็กอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 11 รายการ จากทั้งหมด 175 รายการ เป็นด้านการเงิน 4 รายการ ด้านอาคารสถานที่ 3 รายการและด้านอื่น ๆ อีก 4 รายการ ผู้บริหารมีความเชื่อถือในข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่มีอยู่ในโรงเรียนของตนในระดับสูงมาก และเห็นความจำเป็นในการใช้ข้อมูลและสารสนเทศในการบริหารงาน ทุกรายการ ผู้บริหารของโรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่มีความต้องการในการใช้ข้อมูลและสารสนเทศสูงกว่าผู้บริหารของโรงเรียนขนาดกลางและขนาดเล็กอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 27 รายการ จากทั้งหมด 175 รายการ เป็นด้านครุภัณฑ์ 11 รายการ ด้านการเรียนการสอน 10 รายการ และด้านอื่น ๆ อีก 6 รายการ 3. ปัญหาในการใช้ข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่ผู้บริหารส่วนใหญ่กำลังประสบอยู่ คือ การขาดเจ้าหน้าที่เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่ต้องการ สารสนเทศที่มีอยู่ไม่เป็นปัจจุบัน และขาดความต่อเนื่อง 4. ผู้บริหารส่วนใหญ่ต้องการให้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและสารสนเทศทั้งหมดของโรงเรียนไว้ที่หน่วยงานเฉพาะหน่วยงานเดียว เพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องเป็นปัจจุบัน สะดวกในการใช้ และมีเจ้าหน้าที่รับผิดชอบโดยตรง 5. ลักษณะของข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่ผู้บริหารต้องการใช้ นอกจากจะต้องเป็นข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่ถูกต้องเป็นปัจจุบันแล้ว ยังต้องเป็นข้อมูลและสารสนเทศที่ผ่านการรวบรวม วิเคราะห์และประมวลผลแล้ว และต้องการให้นำเสนอในรูปตารางรวม ร้อยละ กราฟ หรือแผนภูมิแบบต่าง ๆ |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to study the needs in the utilization and the management of educational information of secondary schools in the Bangkok metropolis by examining data and information in the schools, the level of reliability of these data and information and by studying the characteristics of the data and information that the administrators want to utilize in their schools. The sample of the research included 238 school administrators in Bangkok: 145 from large size schools and 93 from medium and small size schools. A questionnaire [designed] by the researcher was used to collect data. Proportions, percentages, arithemetic means, standard deviations, z-tests and t-tests were employed in the analysis of the data. Results are as follow: 1. There are three ways of collecting data and information in the secondary schools in Bangkok. The most frequent way in that each concerned argency collects its data and information. The second most frequent way is that each time administrators need data and information, they instruct appropriate officers to gather what is needed. The Third way is that there is one particular argency directly responsible for Collecting all data and information required. 2. Most of the data and information found in secondary schools are collected on an on-going basis each year in the form of figures or information as summerized from questionnaires and surveys and given as reliable and up-to-date raw data by the administrators. Large size schools have a significantly higher proportion of data and information collected and used than medium and small size schools for 11 of the 175 items. These 11 items included 4 items on funds, 3 items on sites and 4 items on other areas. The administrators find the data and information on their own schools very reliable and they realize the necessity of all the items for the management of their schools. The administrators of large size schools show significantly greater needs for data and information utilization than the administrators of medium and small size schools for 27 of the 175 items. These 27 items included 11 items on materials, 10 items on teaching and learning and 6 items on other area. 3. The problems in data and information utilization that most of the administrators are facing now is the lack of personnel to collect the data and information needed. Information that they have are not up-to-date and there is a lack of on-going statistics compilation 4. In order to facililate the collection of accurate and up-to-date data most of the administrators want all data and information for their schools to be gathered by only one specific argency with one officer directly responsible. 5. Besides the need for accurate and up-to-date data and information, the administrators want the data and information collected and analysed to be presented in the form of combined tables, percentages, graphs or charts. |
