| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อสร้างแบบสอบความสามารถในการจำแนกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับนักเรียนเริ่มเรียน จากผลการเรียนตามความสามารถของแต่ละบุคคลของนักเรียนที่ใช้แบบเรียน Jacaranda individualized language arts program (JILAP) Stage I and II และจากผลการเรียนโดยใช้แบบเรียน The oxford English course for Thailand, book II and III วิธีวิจัย ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างสร้างแบบสอบความสามารถในการจำแนกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับนักเรียนเริ่มเรียน จำนวน 3 ชุด แต่ละชุดประกอบด้วยแบบสอบคู่ขนาน (Parallel forms) ซึ่งมีจำนวนคำตอบแบบสอบละ 12 คำตอบ นำแบบสอบไปทดลองกับตัวอย่างประชากรจำนวน 459 คน 2 ระดับชั้น กล่าวคือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 และ 7 โรงเรียนวัดธาตุทองและชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 และ 5 โรงเรียนสาธิตแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษมาเป็นเวลา 2 และ 3 ปี ดำเนินการสอบโดยใช้เครื่องเล่นเทป นำคะแนนที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ข้อสอบเป็นรายข้อ (Item analysis ) หาค่าระดับความยาก อำนาจจำแนกข้อสอบ มัชฌิมเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานของมัชฌิมเลขคณิต ความเชื่อถือได้ของแบบสอบ ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานในการวัด สัมประสิทธิ์ของคะแนนแบบเพียร์สัน เพื่อศึกษาความเหมือนของแบบสอบคู่ขนาน และคำนวณอัตราส่วนวิกฤต เพื่อหาความมีนัยสำคัญของผลต่างระหว่างมัชฌิมเลขคณิต คัดเลือกข้อสอบที่ดีจากการทดลองของแบบสอบแต่ละคู่โดยยึดหลักการพิจารณาจากค่าระดับความยาก( ค่าความยากระหว่าง .20 - .80 ) และอำนาจจำแนก ( ตั้งแต่ .20 ขึ้นไป ) รวมข้อสอบเป็นชุดเดียวในแต่ละแบบสอบ นำแบบสอบความสามารถในการจำแนกเสียง 3 แบบ ไปสอบกับประชากรจำนวน 1,081 คน ซึ่งเป็นนักเรียนของโรงเรียนในจังหวัดขอนแก่น โดยใช้เครื่องเล่นเทปในการดำเนินการสอบ คำนวณค่าสถิติของแบบสอบและข้อสอบโดยใช้โปรแกรมอิตานัล (Itanal) ผ่านเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ชนิด IBM 350/145 (IBM 350/145 computer) ของสถาบันเทคโนโลยีแห่งเอเชีย (Asian Institute of Technology) ค่าสถิติที่คำนวณประกอบด้วย ค่าระดับความยาก อำนาจจำแนก มัชฌิมเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานของมัชฌิมเลขคณิต ความเชื่อถือได้ของแบบสอบ และความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานในการวัด ผลการวิจัย ได้แบบสอบวัดความสามารถในการจำแนกเสียงสำหรับนักเรียนเริ่มเรียนจำนวน 3 ชุด แต่ละชุดมีจำนวน 12 ข้อ ผลของการสอบจริงปรากฏว่า แบบสอบทั้ง 3 มีค่าระดับความยากกระจายจากง่ายมาถึงยาก (p = .24 - .80 ) ค่าอำนาจจำแนก (r [subscript bis] =.30 - .61) สูง ค่าความเชื่อถือได้ของแบบสอบ (r[subscript tt] = .54 -.75) อยู่ในระดับดีและมีความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาและโครงสร้าง |
| Other Abstract: | Purpose The purpose of this study was to construct effective English sound discrimination proficiency tests for beginners. The tests were based on individualized language materials , the jacaranda Individualized language Arts Program (JILAP), Stage I and II, and The Oxford English Course for Thailand, Book II and III. Procedures Three levels of English sound discrimination tests were constructed. Each level consisted of two parallel forms of twelve items each. These were pretested with 459 students of two levels, Pratom 6 and 7 Wat Tat Thong School students and Pratom 4 and 5 Kasetsart Demonstration School students who had studied English for 2 and 3 years. All tests were administered via tape recording. Item analyses were performed and indices of item difficulty and item discrimination were derived. Means, standard deviations, standard errors of means, reliabilities, and standard errors of measurement were calculated for each test. Pearson product – moment correlations were calculated to determine the equivalence of the parallel forms. Good items were selected from each pair of pretests on the basis of item difficulty (p value between .20-.80) and discrimination (rbis greater than .20), and combined into a single form. The resultant English sound discrimination tests were post-tested with the population of 1,081 students in rural schools in Khon Kaen Province using the recording administration procedure. The results were computed by using program ITANAL on an IBM 350/145 computer at the Asian Institute of Technology. Statistics computed included indices of item difficulty and item discrimination, means, standard deviations, standard errors of means, reliabilities, and standard errors of measurement. Results Three effective English sound discrimination tests for beginners were produced. Each was composed of twelve items. The major findings from the post-test were that the level of item difficulty varied from easy to difficult (p = .24 - .80). The discrimination power was high (r[subscript bis] = .30 - .61). The reliabilities of the tests were satisfactory (r[subscript tt] = 54-.75). The tests also had content and construct validity. |
