dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างทัศนคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษา วิทยาลัยพลศึกษาในภาคกลาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2527 วิทยาลัยพลศึกษาในภาคกลาง รวม 5 แห่ง จำนวน 494 คน เป็นนักศึกษาหญิง 156 คน และนักศึกษาชาย 338 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบวัดทัศนคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษและแบบทดสอบผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นเอง แบบวัดทัศนคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมีค่าความเที่ยง (Reliability) เท่ากับ 0.89 ส่วนแบบทดสอบผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษประกอบด้วยแบบทดสอบ 6 ชุด ได้แก่ แบบทดสอบคำศัพท์ แบบทดสอบโครงสร้าง แบบทดสอบทักษะการฟัง ทักษะการพูด ทักษะการอ่าน และทักษะการเขียน ตอนที่ 1 และตอนที่ 2 ซึ่งมีค่าความเที่ยง 0.73, 0.86, 0.80, 0.75, 0.78, 0.81 และ 0.72 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคะแนนทัศนคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยการหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ทัศนคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมีความสัมพันธ์ในทางบวกกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษา วิทยาลัยพลศึกษาในภาคกลาง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 2. ในกลุ่มนักศึกษาหญิง วิทยาลัยพลศึกษาในภาคกลาง ทัศนคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมีความสัมพันธ์ในทางบวกกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 3. ในกลุ่มนักศึกษาชาย วิทยาลัยพลศึกษาในภาคกลาง ทัศนคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมีความสัมพันธ์ในทางบวกกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purpose of this research was to study the relationship between attitude towards learning English and achievement in learning English of students in the Colleges of Physical Education in central region. The sample of this study was 494 second year students, 156 female students and 338 male students. The instruments for data collecting were an English language attitude scale and an English achievement test constructed by the investigator. The reliability of the language attitude scale was 0.89. The English achievement test consisted of 6 subtests: Vocabulary test, structure test, listening test, speaking test, reading test, writing test part I and part II. The reliability of the subtests was 0.73, 0.86, 0.80, 0.75, 0.78, 0.81 and 0.72 respectively. Data analysis was done by using Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The finding were as follows: 1. There was a correlation between attitude towards learning English and achievement in learning English of students in the colleges of Physical Education in central region at the 0.01 level of significance. 2. There was a correlation between attitude towards learning English and achievement in learning English of female students at the 0.01 level of significance. 3. There was a correlation between attitude towards learning English and achievement in learning English of male students at the 0.01 level of significance.
