| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาสภาพและความต้องการการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน ของประชาชนอำเภอเกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี และเปรียบเทียบสภาพและความต้องการการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน : การศึกษาเฉพาะกรณีอำเภอเกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จำแนกตามเขตตำบล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กิจกรรมการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน ของประชาชนอำเภอเกาะสมุย ที่รัฐให้บริการมากที่สุดในแต่ละด้าน คือ ด้านการศึกษาเพื่อพัฒนาการรู้หนังสือ โดยกิจกรรมการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ทำให้เยาวชนที่เรียนจบชั้นประถมปีที่ 6 สามารถอ่านเขียนภาษาไทยได้ ด้านการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาสังคม จริยธรรมและวัฒนธรรม โดยโรงเรียนร่วมมือกับชาวบ้านจัดกิจกรรมประเพณีในท้องถิ่น เช่น แห่เทียนเข้าพรรษา หรืองานประเพณีสงกรานต์ เป็นต้น ด้านการศึกษาเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาพอนามัยและสาธารณสุข โดยโรงเรียนจัดโครงการอาหารกลางวันแก่เด็กนักเรียน ด้านการศึกษาเพื่อพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและอาชีพ โดยเจ้าหน้าที่เกษตรเป็นผู้จัดอบรมเกี่ยวกับการใช้เทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ในการเพิ่มผลผลิตทางการเกษตรแก่เกษตรกร เช่น การใช้ปุ๋ย การใช้ยาปราบศัตรูพืช และด้านการศึกษาเพื่อพัฒนาการส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในการเมือง การปกครอง โดยกิจกรรมปลูกฝังประชาธิปไตยในโรงเรียน เช่น การเลือกตั้งหัวหน้าชั้น โดยนักเรียนเป็นผู้ลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้ง ส่วนกิจกรรมที่ประชาชนต้องการมากที่สุด ในแต่ละด้านดังกล่าวได้แก่ การศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ที่ทำให้เยาวชนที่เรียนจบชั้นประถมปีที่ 6 สามารถอ่านเขียนภาษาไทยได้ การให้ความรู้ถึงอันตรายของการเสพยาเสพติดแก่นักเรียน เยาวชน และประชาชนทั่วไป การให้บริการเสริมภูมิคุ้มกันโรคต่างๆ แก่นักเรียน เช่น โรคหัดเยอรมัน ไข้ไทฟอยด์ อหิวาตกโรค ฯลฯ โดยความร่วมมือของโรงเรียนและฝ่ายอนามัย การฝึกอบรมวิชาชีพแก่ประชาชนที่ยังว่างงาน การให้ความรู้เรื่องกฎหมายแก่ประชาชน เช่น กฎหมายเกี่ยวกับที่ดินหรืออื่นๆ ผลการเปรียบเทียบสภาพและความต้องการการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนอำเภอเกาะสมุย จำแนกตามเขตตำบลปรากฏว่า การให้บริการการศึกษา ของรัฐทั้งในระบบโรงเรียนและนอกระบบโรงเรียนกับความต้องการของประชาชนแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และ .05 โดยระดับความต้องการของประชาชนสูงกว่าการบริการของรัฐในกิจกรรมส่วนใหญ่ |
| Other Abstract: | The objective of this research is to study the state and needs of education for the development of quality of life of the people at Ko Samui District in Surat Thani Province as well as to compare the state and needs of education for quality of life development of the people in this studied area classified by tambon area. Theresearch findings revealed that educational activities for quality of life development of Ko Samui people which the governments rendered most services in each aspect comprised the education for the development of functional literacy by the primary education activities which will produce the Prathom Suksa (P.S.) 6 students with the Thai language reading and writing proficiency; education for social, ethical and cultural development by the cooperation of school and villagers in organizing the local traditional ceremonies, e.g. candle processing ceremony in Buddist Lent (Khao Phansa), Songkhran festival etc.; education for the promotion of public health and hygiene by school lunches program education for economic and vocational development by having the agricultural officers to give trainings to the farmers on the utilization of modern technologies for increasing the agricultural production, e.g. fertilizers and insecticides, and education for the development and promotion of political participation by promoting democracy at schools, for example the election of head of class by allowing the students to cast votes. The activities which needed most by the people in each aspect were listed as follows : primary education which will derive with the Prathom Suksa 6 students of Thai language proficiency; the dissemination of the Knowledge of the perils of drugs and narcotics of the students, youths and the public ; public health services with the cooperation of schools and health division in providing diseases immunization to the students, e.g. laws on land and so on. Finally, it was found from the comparative result of the state and needs of education for quality of life development of Ko Samui people that there was a statistical difference between the governments educational services at both school and out-of-school systems and those required by the public at the levels of .01 and .05 respectively. Indeed, it was concluded that the level of public needs was generally higher than the majority of activities provided by the governments. |
